Hello and Welcome! My name is Alden White Ballard and I am delighted that you are here. What I love about photography is the captured moment, that split second that you clicked the shutter and preserved time. I washed dishes for a summer as a teen to earn the money to buy my first camera and I have rarely been without one ever since. My husband and I own and operate Elk Fork Outfitters where we work doing pack trips and hunting camp in the summer and fall which allows me a wonderful opportunity to see and experience (and take pictures of!) a lot of things that are unknown to many people. My grandmother used to tell us, "Always be intelligently observing!" and I have taken her words to heart in my life and my pictures. ...
